Luckily, my dream came true and I will be serving as the Marine Mammal Intern at The Seas in Epcot from June 2016 until January 2017. This position involves husbandry work with dolphins and manatees as well as a guest-education component. I am beyond thrilled to work for the company in this role as it has been one of my dream jobs since I was a little girl! I remember asking the interns and trainers what I could do to get their job in the future, and now that dream is actually a reality!
My Disney Dream started in Spring 2014 when I completed the Spring Advantage College Program. I met some of the greatest people in the world as an Attractions hostess at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Theater Operations at Finding Nemo The Musical. My roommates and coworkers are still some of my closest friends to this day and I truly made some of the best memories.
I've loved Disney my whole life and it was always my goal to work for the mouse. After my first program, I decided that my Disney Dream wasn't over and thus begins the second stage. I'm really excited to share my (second) Disney Dream with you all and I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I enjoy telling it.
